Brooke: 8 Months!

Likes: "Walking", Plastic Bottles, Your Thumb, Drinking Water, Power Cords, Fireplace

Dislikes: Sitting in a poopy diaper. Being set down. Mommy or Daddy leaving the room.

Milestones: Clapping. Waving. Starting to pull up. Saying, "Dada."

Weight/Height:

Clothing Size: 9 and 12 month.

Eating: All the food. You can suck down a pouch of pureed food. You like bananas a lot as well. Still nursing well. You love puffs. 

Health: I think you were sick with a small stomach bug the last few days which was then kindly shared with the rest of us and it became not so small. Also the reason why this post and your pictures are a day (now 2 days) late. Thanks. 

Sleep: You had one night of sleeping through the night. Teething or something is totally killing us. You go back to sleep easily, at least. You finally have been taken some longer naps, but not sure if that was partially because you were sick.

Random Tidbits: You are happiest when being held up to stand and "walk" - you are so proud of yourself when you move your feet forward. You can kind of walk with the push walker, but you still have a ways to go. You got 4 top teeth in over the course of this month. They took their sweet time. You love playing with sister's toys and banging on mommy's keyboard. You army crawl from room to room with determination. 

How are Mommy and Daddy Doing?: Pretty rough right now - having both parents down for the count at the same time just doesn't work well. Otherwise, we are totally happy, and you and your sister bring us so much joy.

How is Big Sister doing? She is totally loving how much more interactive you have become. She is relatively gentle with you and loves to give you hugs and kisses. She talks to you a lot more lately, and I'm basically expecting the two of you to have the best relationship ever now.

Looking Forward To: Cruising. Walking for real. Weekend trip to New Orleans for a wedding and spending time with Grandma and Papa.
