Brooke's First Birthday
Apparently we never posted this, so this will be backdated for our records.
Brooke's first birthday party was tea party themed. We had a few friends over to celebrate with us and made sure to include the important first birthday traditions.
We made sure to include the Vietnamese tradition of selecting items that would reveal what her future holds. Crazily enough, she picked the exact same items as Audra did on her first birthday in a slightly different order. Brooke selected the computer mouse (technology), hair brush (good looks), and calculator (math).
We did her own cake to smash and she was not on board with the smashing aspect. A few finger swipes of icing was good enough for her.
