Molly: 2 Years!
Molly, our Mollypop. Whenever we ask her what her name is or she names herself in a picture, it is always Mollypop. She is such a character and has us laughing all the time.
Testing us is her new favorite pasttime. When we tell her "no," she gets this "I'm going to do it" smirk as she side eyes us and goes to do it. She can be a handful when things aren't her way, but the rest of the time, she is the sweetest. She loves giving hugs and cuddling.
She loves dramatic play, and the play kitchen is becoming her favorite toy. She is always trying to sell me some fries. Sometimes when we suggest something, she will say "no" with a chuckle (as to say that was a silly suggestion), and it just melts me. She is so smart and aware.
She can be both bold and shy. In Kindermusik, she will dance and be the star of class, or she will sit in my lap and get mad if anyone makes eye contact with her. She is really just hot and cold with everyone.
She is very independent and loves trying things for herself, but if it is too hard, she pretty quickly will turn around and ask for help. As long as it's on her terms, she is happy. She loves to be just like her sisters and was so proud to learn how to hop with both feet. She loves helping in the kitchen and is great at cleaning things up or correcting something when it is wrong. She does it with such care and purpose.
She loves her sisters so much. She loves seeing them and showing off for them. She always greets them when they come home or into the room. She really wants to go to school with Brooke - only one more year.
She loves Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig. Frozen is quickly becoming a favorite as well. She could watch tv all day so we have to make sure we give her plenty of warning when her time is up.
Her vocabulary is expanding quickly - with words like disgusting and shit becoming favorites. Oops. And everything is, "sooo cuuuute!"
We are very much looking forward to this next year with her and can't wait to see her grow and learn more.
