Planning From Afar: Half Bath

I would like to add a lot of little things to the downstairs half bath. It will be the restroom our non-overnight guests will be using, so it would be nice for it to look a little better. 

Once we take down the wallpaper boarder I'm hoping adding a frame to the mirror and wooden shelf will help balance out the wood trim. I want to paint it the same color as the living room and den and put a metal art piece in there. I haven't seen the night fixture, but I think it is the same as the other bathrooms so that will have to be switched out as well.
