Audra: 3 Months!

Nicknames: Mommy calls you "sweetheart" and Daddy calls you "dear" from time to time, but pretty much stick to your name.

Likes: Sucking on your hands. White noise. Talking to us. Music. Being held. Baths. Bright objects (notably, computer screens and televisions).

Dislikes: Too long between naps. Zoe's mean bark. Mommy not being around when you want her. Tummy time after 3 minutes. Tickling.

Milestones: You rolled over a few times in a row once on the bed with me causing a slight incline with my weight. I was hoping it would help you figure it out on a flat surface, but no such luck; I suspect you are still a month or two away from that. You are now giving us large, gummy smiles and have even giggled here and there. You  have started to try mimicking me a few times. You are starting to grab toys and will even hold the winkle all by yourself. 

Weight/Height: You're growing! Mommy and Daddy both weighed you at 11.8 lbs. It seems like your height is still 22.5 inches, which is the same as at your 2-month appointment.

Clothing Size: 3, 3-6 month

Eating: Like a champ. You battled with Mommy's oversupply at the beginning of the month, but now everything is better. You have been super hungry these last few days so I suspect you are going through a little growth spurt. 

Sleep: Night sleep is great. You only have 1 wake-up most nights, but they are short and sweet and you happily go back to sleep. We have made awesome progress on your naps this month. You take 3-4 naps in your crib each day, and two of those were even 2 1/2 hours!

Random Tidbits: When you start talking to us, it is the greatest thing. You have developed a bald spot on the back of your head from thrashing your head back and forth when we put you down in your crib awake. You love your activity floor gym and stare at any toy hanging above your head with great interest. This month was the first time you had a weekend in which you didn't see an extended family member. You also went to the mall for the first time and gave Daddy quite a hard time. You love your baths and try to lick the water when it gets near your mouth. 

How are Mommy and Daddy Doing?:  Daddy is working a LOT. He tries to hang with you when he gets a chance and much prefers you to be happy when he has time with you. You and Mommy have a groove going, but sometimes you don't give her enough time to do chores around the house so then Daddy has to do some of them.
