Audra: 9 Months!

Likes: Crawling after Mommy and Daddy. Pulling books and DVD/Blu-Rays from shelves. Pulling yourself up on just about everything. Going after Zoe's food. Shoes. Running your fingernails through the grille of the stereo speaker. Stopping whatever new/cool thing you're doing whenever Mommy pulls out a phone/camera to capture it. Exploring like crazy! Your duck. Drink bottles (coke, water, etc.)

Dislikes: The gate that prevents from you going into the kitchen and eating Zoe's food. When Mommy and Daddy eat in front of you, and we don't give you bits of our food. Having to go down for naps.

Milestones: You are cruising effortlessly and walk very well behind your walker. You can clap your hands and hold separate toys in each hand now. You can walk with support from your walker or from Mommy and Daddy. You interact with Zoe a lot now: crawling after her, petting her, picking up her toys, and holding out her toys for her to grab. We are declaring your first word as hi - you wave and say "hi."

Weight/Height: You go to the doctor in a few days, but by our estimates you are about 17 lbs and a shortie.

Clothing Size: 6-12 month and 9 month mostly.

Eating: You can eat, girl. You get upset when anyone eats in front of you and won't share. We haven't found a food you won't eat - you even started eating peaches. You have solids 3+ times a day in various quantities.

Sleep: Your napping and sleeping have been on a pretty consistent schedule. You are now only taking 2 naps a day for the most part and usually you are asleep for the night at 6:30 pm. You like to wake up between 6 and 6:30 am. 

Random Tidbits: We made you a cardboard box tunnel/fort and you had no fear, crawling right through it. You have also crawled through the holes in our coffee table. You are ticklish on your ribs, especially when you are getting tired. You went to the splash pad for the first time and did great! You attended your first wedding ceremony. You went on your first long play date. You explore everything with such interest. It is amazing how even the littlest of things will catch your eye, then find its way to your mouth. Your smile is even more infectious than ever, all we want is to see it plastered on your face. You are amazing and growing and learning each and every day. 

How are Mommy and Daddy Doing?: Alright. Daddy usually takes the morning shift while mommy sleeps in, so you get some good quality time with him in the early hours of the day.
