Another Big Change
We have some pretty big news. We decided to finally sell the truck.
Bye-bye, old friend. Chi's dad bought it new in 2006, and Chi got it in 2008 so that his brother could use his old car to learn how to drive. His dad ended up transferring the title to Chi in 2011 when we got married.
It was kind of an impulse decision, but something we had been talking about for a good while. We don't really have much use for a truck in our everyday life, and the limited interior cargo space has proven problematic from time to time with a kid.
We posted it late Tuesday and had someone interested on Wednesday, but they couldn't meet up until Friday. They saw it on Friday, were happy with it and said they would pay the full asking price. Chi met with them today (had to wait for the bank to be open) and everything went smoothly. We now have the money in the bank and are plotting our next vehicle purchase. We are pretty sure what we are going to get, just trying to hash out some of the logistics.
