Audra: 2 Months!
Nicknames: Still haven't gotten one that sticks.
Likes: Pacifier. Ceiling fans. Your music and bird on your activity gym. Car rides. Vacuum white noise. Being held. Movement. Changing pad. Bath.
Dislikes: Gassy belly. 9:00 pm. Being set down in the crib and left alone for 2 min when you are hungry (Daddy has to get your bottle ready! Sheesh, child.).
Milestones: You are taking in the world. You will sit and stare around you quietly for a decent block of time. Your neck control is stellar now and you can sit up with support very well. You are starting to smile! Not at much as mommy would like, but a lot. I can't wait for your little giggles. You are staring at toys longer and starting to take mild interest
Weight/Height: Your 2 month appointment is Feb. 5th, but I am certain you are over 10 lbs.
Clothing Size: Newborn, barely. I would move you out of them but the 3 month clothes are still a bit big. The 0-3 month clothes we have are pretty much the same size as the newborn. I'm starting to prep bags to put the stuff you grow out of away, though.
Eating: Breastfeeding is still going well, and you will take a bottle of pumped milk with no fuss. You have started to get more distracted when feeding though, and will sometimes pull on and off taking your sweet time.
Sleep: Sleep is improving! You will now always be down between 10:00 pm and midnight. Even better, you will put yourself to sleep at/during the night if we have you drowsy/calm and turn on white noise. You usually only wake up once in the middle of the night around 3:30-4:30. Now to just work on those naps in the crib and off of mommy.
Random Tidbits: Your hair is growing longer and you haven't lost much of it yet. You have a dry patch on the top of your forehead that won't go away, but otherwise everything is looking good. Mommy clipped the end of your finger with nail clippers, and you were not happy about that - it healed quickly, though. You have seen an extended family member every weekend of your life so far - you are so loved! Also, your super sad face is the most pitiful thing I have ever seen, I just can't help but giggle when you make it.
Looking Forward To: More interaction with toys and people. More smiles!
